Watching whales in their natural habitat may be one of the most magical things in this world. They are truly amazing creatures that can be observed respectfully. This whale watching tour departs from Cambutal (there is another whale watching tour from Pedasi that includes a visit to Isla Iguana) that allows you to see these gentle creatures breach, slap their tails and spyhop.
Humpback whales come to the Pacific Ocean of Panama from June or July through October (season may vary) to give birth to their calves. Other whale species such as pilot whales and false killer whales can be seen, as well as dolphins. This whale watching tour in Panama also allows you to see manta and eagle rays and several species of sea turtles. As well as many types of birds such as jaegers, herons, albatrosses, grebes, petrels, terns, shearwaters, and frigate birds.
You can turn your whale-watching excursion in Cambutal into a surfing trip, where the captain will take you to discover hidden waves. You can also combine it with a half-day fishing trip in Cambutal for just an additional $60.

Important information: This is a private tour so you can decide at what time you want to go. We recommend leaving early, between 7 and 8 a.m. The boat will take you along the coast of Cambutal.
