One of the most unique and incredible experiences you can do in Panama is see the sea turtles nesting. There are five species and one subspecies that live and nest in the Pacific Ocean of Panama. These are the Olive Ridley turtle, green sea turtles, black sea turtles, leatherbacks, loggerheads and hawksbill. Seasons vary for the different types of turtles, so they can be spotted year-round. They each have their own preferred nesting grounds. Turtles can be seen from the coast of Nicaragua through Costa Rica until Panama. Don’t miss this incredible event!

What to bring? comfortable clothes, sneakers or flip-flops, and camera.
Important information: it is important not to disturb the turtles, so no flash or lights pointing at them when they are nesting. There is a two person minimum for this tour.
